          Ubuntu 18.04 Install ചെയ്ത സിസ്റ്റങ്ങളിൽ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ, യു.പി .വിഭാഗത്തിനാവശ്യമായ ചില സോഫ്റ്റ് വെ‍ യറുകൾ ലഭ്യമല്ല. (Ubuntu Image ന്റെ size 4.25 GB യിൽ കുറക്കുന്നതിനായി മെയിൻ പാക്കേജിൽ നിന്ന് ഒഴിവാക്കിയതാണ്). പ്രസ്തുത സോഫ്റ്റ്‍ വെയറുകൾ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ പരിശിലനത്തിനോടൊപ്പം വിതരണം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ചിലരിൽ അത് എത്തിയിട്ടില്ല എന്നു മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നു. അവ‍ർക്കായി ഷെയർ ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Install Realtek d723 WiFi driver for GNU/Linux

grub installation പൂർത്തിയാവാതെ OS പരാജയപ്പെടുന്നുവോ?

ഉബുണ്ടു ഇൻസ്റ്റാൾ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ grub installation പൂർത്തിയാവാതെ OS ഇൻസ്റ്റലേഷൻ പരാജയപ്പെടുന്ന കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറുകളിൽ ഉബുണ്ടു ഇൻസ്റ്റാൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന വിധം.

ഇതിൽ ആദ്യം ഗ്രബ് ബൂട്ട് ലോഡർ ഇല്ലാതെ OS ഇൻസ്റ്റാൾ ചെയ്യുകയും അതിനു ശേഷം ഗ്രബ് Manually ഇൻസ്റ്റാൾ ചെയ്യുകയുമാണ് വേണ്ടത്. അതിനായിTry Ubuntu സെലക്ട് ചെയ്ത്  Live സെഷനിൽ ബൂട്ട് ചെയ്യുക.

ഗ്രബ് ഇല്ലാതെ OS ഇൻസ്റ്റാൾ ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി ഒരു ടെർമിനൽ തുറന്ന്  sudo ubiquity -b എന്ന കമാന്റ് റൺ ചെയ്യുക

Inkscape 0.92.4 in Ubuntu 18.04

Open terminal either via Ctrl+Alt+T keyboard shortcut or from application menu. When it opens, run command to add the PPA:

1. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:inkscape.dev/stable
2. sudo apt-get update
3. sudo apt-get install inkscape
To remove Inkscape, either use Synaptic package manager or run command in terminal:
4. sudo apt-get remove --autoremove inkscape

  ഐ.ടി@സ്‍കൂൾ ഗ്നു/ലിനക്സ് 18.04 ല്‍ ചില്ലക്ഷരങ്ങളുടെ ഇൻപുട്ട് രീതിയിൽ പ്രകടമായ വ്യത്യാസം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നത്  അറിയാമല്ലോ. അഞ്ച് വർഷം മുൻപ് തന്നെ  ഈ കീബോർഡ് നിലവിൽ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും പാഠപുസ്തക പരിഷ്ക്കരണത്തോടൊപ്പം മാത്രം പുതിയ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ ഓപ്പറേറ്റിങ് സിസ്റ്റത്തിൽ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്താന്‍ നമുക്ക് സാധിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ എന്നതിനാലാണ് ഈ മാറ്റം ഉൾപ്പെടുത്താൻ നാം വൈകിയത്. മലയാളം കമ്പ്യൂട്ടിങ് രംഗത്ത് പഴയതെങ്കിലും വളരെ പ്രധാനമായ ഈ മാറ്റത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ചില കാര്യങ്ങൾ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ് ഇവിടെ. ചിലർക്കെങ്കിലും ഇത് പുതിയ അറിവുമായിരിക്കാം.
